Kirsty Nathoo - Finances & Fundraising AMA

Kirsty Nathoo

is a Partner and CFO at Y Combinator. She's worked at YC since 2010 and helped almost 2000 companies with incorporation, fundraising questions, and understanding their cap tables. At YC, she read applications, interviews companies, leads the team that is responsible for YC's internal finances, and answers questions from founders about finances and fundraising.

Before joining YC, she was an audit manager at PwC in the UK. She grew up and worked in the UK before moving to California to start working at YC. She has a Masters in Engineering from Cambridge University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
